Flintridge Prep is situated at the base of the San Gabriel Mountains in the community of La Cañada Flintridge. Founded in 1933, the school has 500 students enrolled in grades 7-12. Facilities include the Randall Performing Arts Center with classrooms for dance, drama, and music, as well as the Miller Theater, a state-of-the-art black box performance space. The cultural/science center includes biology, chemistry, and computer labs, and the 400-seat Norris Auditorium.

The auditorium has an unusual circular shape that is not normally desirable. MLA used convex surfaces around the inside of this circle in order to overcome the natural focusing of the cylindrical shape. We also designed the ceiling and the audio visual system.
